Wild Thoughts: In & Out

I watched this video a couple days ago and I felt like this is something you all should be exposed to. He opened my mind to a perspective that I, like many others, have always questioned.

Our voice and inner thoughts are powered by something larger than ourselves, something that is more abstract than we think. The body is merely a shell for the transpiring energy that is stored within itself. Mind blowing right? My mind instantly began racing and so many questions came about.

The other day I had a conversation with a friend on this manner. We spoke about eternal life and reincarnation. I am a strong believer that our bodies are put to rest (in other words death) but our souls continue to prosper in another "shell". From the continuation of time we've all walked the Earth but every time we die our energy comes back in a new form. Whether it's the body of a human, animal or inanimate object.

With that being said the topic of intuition and gut feelings came about.

*Hold your horses, shit is about to get deep* 

I questioned, "Why is it that we get a gut feeling? Is it because of something we've experienced in our past life?" I'm starting to feel as if we get these cringy feelings in our stomach as a symbol. I think we have this intuition to go about things a certain way because it is a familiar experience from our past life. For example, let's say you're doing something risky like going out to a bar in a sketchy part of town. You're out having the time of your life with your friends, everything is going great but suddenly you start to feel uneasy. There's no sign of danger but for some reason you can't fight this feeling. Internally you're ready to leave but you ignore the signs because you don't want to ruin this incredible night. Something's telling you to grab your friends and go but you party hard until you discover the reason why you should of left earlier. There you are on your knees along with your group of friends being held at gunpoint. Maybe this was the reason for your death in your past life. Was this a second shot at doing the right thing? (no pun intended) Maybe it was the third, fourth, fifth time. Who knows ...

*Going on a tangent*

I also find it interesting that our energy bounces from one shell to another. This makes me question "YOLO" (i.e. You Only Live Once) If our souls are alive and well in different beings over a series of time... don't we live more than once? I do get what Drake was saying though. I understand in a sense we do live once... in this body. But that's neither here nor there.


It's just crazy that I can die tomorrow or even today but I am not truly gone. Even though my current body will be buried six feet under, my spirit still travels the Earth and remains present in the universe in some manner. Whaaaatttttt? Crazy huh?
